The Essen Spiel is a board gaming convention taking place in Essen, Germany. 2015 looks to be a big year for the convention with over 700 titles on the Board Game Geek preview. Gen Con coverage is coming to a close for us. We are going out with a bang! Tasty Minstrel Games is here to talk about Cthulhu Relms, Steamworks, and Gold West. Steamworks and Gold West sold out within the first day and Cthulhu Relms was moving quickly. On August 11th, an expansion for Scoville, titled Scoville Labs, will be going live on Kickstarter. Continuing our Gen Con 2015 coverage we have an interview with Chris Birch from Modiphius Entertainment. We talk about the Thunderbirds board game designed by Matt Leacock. Modiphius also brought along many roleplaying games such as Mutant Year Zero, Achtung Cthulhu!, and Mindjammer. A strong future awaits Modiphius with upcoming releases for Robert E. Howard's Conan and John Carter.

Live from the GenCon showroom floor, Where Do The Meeples Go? brings you an interview with Plaid Hat Games.  We talk with Issac Vega about the release of Ashes: Rise of The Phoenixborn and the upcoming stand alone game in the Dead Of Winter universe. We also hear hints of the future releases. Jerry Hawthorne, designer of Mice and Mystics, tells us about his upcoming release, Tail Feathers. We learn about the unique combat sytem and more on how the game ties into the Mice and Mystics universe.
